This community-driven site is geared towards QNAP's Network-attached storage (NAS) devices. Notice that this page is totally unrelated to the vendor. Click on the links on the right to find out which variant you have.

Please help collecting information and enhancing the wiki. In case you never edited a wiki before take a look at the cheatsheet and the User's guide.

Currently anonymous edits are allowed, but as this might change because of spam please register at the forum. You can login here with your forum user/pass then.

1.8.08: A web site for Debian on QNAP Turbo Station (TS-109, TS-209 and TS-409) is available now.


21.7.08: Daily Debian installer image available for QNAP TS-109, TS-209 and TS-409
Daily installer images for Debian are now available for the QNAP TS-109, TS-209 and TS-409. This means that complete installations of Debian testing are possible now.


11.5.08: Experimental Debian installer release(s) for QNAP TS-x09 series
Debian GNU/Linux is a community made (since 1993) operating system plus thousands of high quality packages to use with it. It can be used to replace the whole software on a NAS device.
Note: These releases are currently very experimental and require soldering (for serial port) at the moment. Files for TS-109 & TS-209 and TS-409. Official Debian installer beta3 will be the first release targeted at end users.
